BOYS TENNIS
Four local singles players and two local doubles teams picked up victories Thursday at the Canton Men’s Division II Tennis Tournament to advance to the semifinals on Saturday and secure berths in the district tournament la next week.
The singles players who advance to the semifinals are Alvin Altman and Denil Joseph of Jackson, Dylan Wiles of GlenOak and Blake Hood of Alliance.
The passing doubles teams are both from Jackson – Ryan Kelley and Lucas Immel, and Cole Bertram and Shiv Nagajothi.
